Wenderholm Regional Park | Auckland Beach Engagement Session
Sunny and I were super excited to be able to keep the dust off the cameras after 8 weeks due to COVID-19 lockdown as we headed out to Wenderholm Regional Park to photograph Victoria and Henry's engagement session. Albeit a bit chilly what a day it was and we were lucky that Auckland turned on a show for the couple up from Napier to kick of all their family celebrations that happened over lock down.
Wenderholm is a beautiful location and there are so many gorgeous opportunities from the majestic trees and beach to the wonderful house. Not only is Wenderholm a picture perfect location but it also very special to Victoria and Henry as they had one of their earlier dates here. We started off walking to a bench overlooking the estuary and it was great to be able to hear about where their love story began and see them both grin from ear to ear as the recalled some very fond memories they have shared together including taking a leap of faith and making the move from Auckland to Napier for their careers.
It was such a fun session and felt like we were hanging out with old friends. Here is a preview of some of our favourites from the engagement session. We cannot wait to capture their wedding in October.
