Atarana and Chris’s wedding at Puketutu Island Estate was a stunning celebration of love, laughter, and family—set in the lush, private surroundings of one of Auckland’s most timeless garden wedding venues.

Their outdoor ceremony was absolutely magical, with vibrant florals and tapa mats to incorporate both cultures, sweeping green lawns, and the estate’s elegant heritage setting creating the perfect backdrop. Atarana looked radiant in a satin wedding gown with lace veil, while Chris wore traditional Tongan and Samoan attire, grinning ear to ear as they exchanged heartfelt vows.

One of the most unforgettable moments? We loved how family orientated this beautiful couple were from Chris's Dad conducting their ceremony to Atarana having her brothers and Mum walk her down the aisle. It was a true highlight that captured the fun, close-knit vibe of the day.

The reception took place in Puketutu’s fairy-lit marquee, where heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and a romantic first dance with sparklers. From emotional moments to bursts of joy, every part of the celebration felt personal and full of love. There theme was traditional meets chic and they absolutely nailed it transforming the grounds into an exotic Island Oasis.
