Allely Estate is one of those venues that feels tucked away once you step through the gates, even though it’s right in the heart of Kumeū.

With beautiful established gardens, a heritage villa, outdoor courtyards and a large permanent marquee, there’s plenty of variety for both your wedding day and your photos. One of the things we really like about photographing weddings here is that you don’t need to travel far to get completely different looks throughout your gallery.

Wedding Ceremony at Allely Estate

Allely Estate gives couples the option of having both their ceremony and reception in the same location, which can make the wedding day flow really easily. The gardens create a beautiful setting for an outdoor ceremony.

It also works really well for couples who choose to have a church or cultural ceremony elsewhere before heading to Allely Estate for their reception.

There are plenty of places around the property that we love using for wedding photos. Some of our favourites include the garden pathways, mature trees, the villa, courtyards and greenery surrounding the venue. Because everything is close together, we can move through a few different locations without taking you away from your guests for too long. Also the sunset across the field is incredible.

Getting Ready and Reception Space

The permanent marquee is one of the features that makes Allely Estate such a great reception space. With high ceilings, chandeliers and plenty of room for dinner, speeches, cultural performances and dancing, it works really well for couples wanting a fun and energetic celebration.

Allely Estate is also a great option for getting ready on-site, making it easy to keep more of the day in one location. We love being able to capture the getting-ready moments before heading straight into the ceremony, photos and reception without too much travelling in between.
